Networking, Events, Joe GirardSome people find the idea of networking to be quite scary.  And others feel that going to networking events will mean they have to listen to cheesy sales pitches, or have to be in selling mode.  Those are the two most common things I hear when I talk to those who don’t typically network.  Today, I have a few quick tips on how to make the most of your networking excursions! 

I talked about public speaking the other day and the fears around rejection.  Networking is very similar in the way it makes us feel because we are entering the unknown and there is that chance for rejection.  In today’s video, I give you three tips on how to get past that fear and meet some amazing new contacts!

Get over those fears of networking events, add value to others, and create introductions!
