Years ago, I stumbled onto a hilariously accurate web series called Joy of a Salesman. They are a group of cartoons and are pretty much spot on to the career of sales.
The first video is all about the conversation between a salesman and his manager and the BS topics that are often discussed:
- Quotas
- Rewards and recognition
- Old mentality
- Closing
A little NSFW language, but not much. Funny sales videos nonetheless.
The second funny sales video is all about sales excuses. It highlights the back and forth between a sales manager and salespeople and how it is a never ending list of excuses as to why the team can’t sell. I have heard many of these excuses before!
